Water Rescue Dive Team

The Mid-County Fire Protection District, MCFPD, Water Rescue Dive Team, WRDT, was formed in 1997.

Since that time, the MCFPD WRDT trains monthly for a variety of emergency situations in any weather or water conditions.  The WRDT is made up of qualified and trained personnel from the MCFPD and always looking for new members.

The WRDT is not only dispatched to boat accidents and drownings, but also to swift water and flash flood rescues.  The WRDT also assist law enforcement with under water evidence recovery.

The MCFPD WRDT is funded by the annual Lake of the Ozarks Shootout, the generosity of private donations and fundraising efforts.  The funds the WRDT receives annually is used to fund their training and purchase needed equipment.

Currently the Mid-County Fire Protection District Water Rescue Dive Team is the only water rescue dive team at Lake of the Ozarks, besides the Missouri State Highway / Water Patrol Dive Team.

Honor Guard

 
 

The Mid-County Fire Protection District, MCFPD, Honor Guard was formed in 2009 and consists of firefighters from the MCFPD.

The MCFPD Honor Guard participates in numerous annual public events and ceremonies.

The MCFPD Honor Guard is funded by annual fund raising and private donations.  The MCFPD Honor Guard personnel donate their time for the training and the events they participate with.
